With the help of UK professional higher and postgraduate distance learning programs, Belarus can double the influx rate of international students entering the country, said the Magna Carta College Oxford Business School’s CEO, Vadzim Tsitou.

Tsitou said that by incorporating these programs in concurrent education and distance learning courses, Belarus can attract twice the number of foreign students. He added that foreign students will come to Belarus if they notice that they can attain both Belarusian and British diploma. Further he added that, this move will bring more currency to the country.

Sources state that the concurrent education system in Belarus will be introduced from 2015. This can be put into practice due to the memorandum signed between the Education Ministry of Belarus and the Association of Business Executives. At present, 50,000 people from 83 nations got enrolled in ABE programmes.

Tsitou stated that Belarusian students will be given an opportunity to get enrolled in the ABE distance learning programmes besides concurrent education system. This aspect will make the education system of Belarusian more appealing for international students and will have a constructive effect on the country.
