Britain Should Increase Its Intake of Indian Students to Double Amount

In order to commemorate the 400th year of direct relations between Britain and India, the two countries are taking steps to improve the relations between these two nations. Student motility is the best way of strengthening ties.
According to a chancellor of the University of Birmingham, Britainís post-study work visa lets students work with a minimum salary start of 20,000 pounds annually, which is just a little less than Rs. 2 million.
In 2007, an initiative by the British Parliament to kick-start a two-year post-graduate work visa for international students, proved an attractive prospect especially for Indian students. However, this visa is no longer granted automatically upon completion of studies. Instead, the student has to initially find work and fulfill the minimum salary requirement. The positive aspect of this visa is that a graduate can earn up to 20,000 pounds in a year. When you finally land up in a job, your three-year visa can be extended till five to six years.
