27 November, 2014

Minnesota State University
Minnesota State University has seen a recent increase in the number of offshore students taking admission there. This has led to a higher ranking for the college.  The Institute of International Educationís annual report has listed MSU as holding the 31st rank among institutions which offer a masters degree.

This yearís Open Doors Report recorded 1,044 foreign students enrolled at MSU which is an upsurge from last yearís totality of 885 international students.

The estimates in each report are taken from the preceding fall session. For instance, the November 2014 statistics is a reflection of fall 2013 enrollment data.

The college ranking has received a boost in the two successive years. In 2012, it was ranked 38th while the next year saw it move up the list to 34th spot.

As per the college press release, the MSU student population is representative of 90 foreign countries.
