Overseas Students To Start Studies At The University Of Seychelles In 2015

The University of Seychelles (UniSey) has achieved an additional milestone by obtaining the renowned name of tertiary institution to open its door for overseas students to pursue their higher studies and to come up in flying colors.

Previously, this renowned university was the partner of many other institutions like University of London to offer globally renowned qualifications to its international students. During the year 2015, it is planning to welcome and proffer excellent accommodation and hassle-free admission procedures for atleast 50 international students in its first batch. 

Vice-Chancellor of the university noted that provision of proper housing plays a crucial role in welcoming the foreign students. Professor Hardy of the institution revealed that the official initialization for overseas students was conducted at key Anse Royale campus of Seychelles Island on Wednesday.

Hardy further added that after the few years of establishment of the university in the island, it is now ready to take up the new challenge of proffering quality education for international students.

 Only to bring diverse cultured students at one place and to proffer more career prospects to all classes, they have planned to grab the attention of foreign students, says the vice-chancellor.

He further stated that apart from this, surge in number of international students to their region will enhance their economy and would also generate more revenue to their landlords and shopkeepers.

Currently, it comprises of students of Nigeria, South Africa, Europe, Zimbabwe and they are also planning to attract the students from others regions in the coming years, says the vice-chancellor.

 Student council president, Bertrand Lucas expressed his happiness for the new opening that would enhance the institutionís fame across the globe and in bringing the diverse cultured students at place.

Based on the course that you take up, your course fee varies and the minimum cost of living expenses is $9,000 for 40 weeks that include all transportation, meals, stationery and accommodation expenditures.
