Policies of Study Abroad to Change During 2015-16

10 February, 2015

International Students in Abroad
During the school inception year of 2015-16, all the financial support policies for abroad semester education will change. Earlier policies of the Northwestern provinces permitted all the students to pursue their studies and attain the financial support in any of the regions of foreign nation they have chosen.

From the year 2015-16, a student will be able to receive the funds for only few of the study abroad programs. Earlier students used to obtain the funds based on the ranks they score in the class and the seniority process. Thus, with the launch of new policies NW is aiming to grab the attention of more number of students, says the sources.  Executive of Global Education, William Hyndman noted that their study abroad programs aid students to grab more number of employment and career prospects.

With an intention of grabbing the attention of more number of students from across the globe, Northwestern province has made some compromises with few regions such as Romania, Chicago, Oman and Denver to offer 100% financial support from their recognized universities.

And a student who is willing to undertake the higher education from outside the institutions can obtain 50% financial support from institutions and the federal government. An overseas student who is good at athletics will be offered 50% financial aid if he or she pursues their abroad studies in season and 100% for those who undertake their studies out of season.

If a student wishes to pursue studies through other vocational programs then NW will give a check to aid a student to meet his expenses, says administrator of Financial Aid, Eric Anderson. Applications will be open from February 10 for a student who wishes to undertake new program of study abroad of 2015-16 school year.
