Rise in number of Indian students heading to New Zealand
New Zealand has hit the headlines yet another time for all good reasons. A number of students are heading to New Zealand for long term courses, particularly from India.  

According to the statistics of New Zealand, in the previous year, the country has received a record number of migrants i.e. 49,800.

In the previous year, the country has seen a huge lift in overseas arrivals, especially from India, representing a rise up to 4500, followed by Australia.

The maximum number of Indians flocking to New Zealand on student visas and since 2008, the country has been major source of student visa arrivals.

As the work limitations for immigrants on student visas are relaxed, the number of student accesses has augmented by over 1,000 a month.

In 2014, till November, a total of 108,800 immigrants have arrived to New Zealand, which represents an increase up to 15,000 people when compared to previous year.

The yearly rise was seen by more student arrivals, especially from India, and a number of New Zealand nationals coming from Australia.
