Speaking at the foreign studentsí conference organized by the University of Cape Town in Newlands, the Minister said that approximately 20,000 African healthcare professionals, who completed their education in the African content, are presently working in Europe or North American countries.

The Government aims to retain international students for a longer period. The long-term visas are granted to international students who have additional skills.
