A number of international students who have started their courses in Australian universities, colleges as well as English schools in 2015 than any other year with over 147,000 students registering during the initial three months of the year.
Foreign students lured in over $16.6 billion to the country’s economy in the previous year, contributing to a major part of the country’s export market.
Overseas students registration are tipped to rise to $19.1 billion, a maximum of 30%, by 2020 driven off increasing demand and a drop in the value of dollar.
Apparently, a large number of students need language studies prior to they go on to university or work and for that market.
With the decrease in the Australian dollar value, the country emerges to be more attractive. The country is also intending to relax student visa rules and assisted to drive up registrations.
Christopher Pyne, the Education minister, announced that student visas will soon become simpler to apply for and allows students to attach around and work after the completion of their studies.
