Indian students flock to Estonian varsities
Estonia is under the spotlight over the increase in number of overseas students to its universities. The reports that were published in various Estonian dailies revealed interesting facts. Reportedly every year the number of students from various countries getting enrolled to Estonian universities is increasing.

Whilst India, Nigeria, Georgia, Turkey, Latvia, Ukraine and Russia enjoy the top slots in terms of their students at Estonian universities, there are nearly 40 other countries that are sending their students to these universities, confirmed the reports.

The prestigious Tallinn University, this year, recorded 430 foreign nationals, which is a 30 per cent high compared to the previous year, said sources close to the university under the condition of anonymity.

When asked as to what could be such sudden rise in overseas studentsí inflow despite some good universities in the western countries, the eminent educationists said that Estonian universities offer over 200 foreign exchange programs, which according to them was the main reason behind this attractive statistics.
