Michigan University Scholarship Program for Fresh Students
Western Michigan University began a scholarship program for new students who seek admission to the university in fall 2017.

The competitive Global Ambassadors Scholarship will support 100 potential freshers of the university. The program has funding worth $ 180,000 which helps the international students.

An interactive competition will decide the students who are eligible for the program. The selection committee will choose potential students from the pool for the top level scholarship.

The successful students can participate in the fully funded abroad-through-summer course in 2017.

Features of the two Tier Scholarship Program

  • 100 Global Ambassadors Scholarship applicants will be invited to compete for the 15 Global Ambassadors Diplomat Scholarships.
  • The diplomat level scholarships allow students to study a course abroad before the Western Michigan University’s session begins in the fall of 2017.
  • The scholarship gainers will be awarded $US 10,000, for overseas study during their sophomore, junior, or senior for a semester or more than that.
  • If the student chooses for a short-term study course for two or three months, $US 3,000 will be awarded.
  • The remaining students will be eligible for a representative-level scholarship that provides $US 1,000 for the students for studying abroad during their course.
  • Only freshers qualify for this scholarship program.
