Tasmania has recently welcomed nearly 4000 overseas students from across the globe to offer high standard of quality education and career prospects to its students. Overseas students from 60 nations have shown interest to take up higher education in Tasmania universities, high schools, TAFE and colleges. Although the existing government of the country is not able to reveal the exact figure of enrolled international students, the country is anticipating the steady rise in students count with the advanced educational programs. This world-class popular study destination has held an event at Derwent Sailing Squadron to welcome more number of international students from across the Globe, says the sources.

Sources of the country have also added that the conducive learning ambience and the fresh air aids international students to easily excel in the field which he or she has chosen. Education Minister of the province, Jeremy Rockliff noted that Tasmania is a beautiful region surrounded with renowned institutions which offer best education from its trained lecturers to international students enrolled in its institutions. They have brought epitomic economical and social benefits to its province.

The ministry further added that besides fine economy, international students have also brought much in return such as their culture, tradition, language and many others that would be helpful for their students to learn more than what they learn from their books.

With the steady surge in the count of overseas students in the province, its students can gain insight on global issues and an ability to meet the complex situations, according to the education ministry.

As per the new statistics of the country they have seen more number of enrollments from India and Nepal.
