Plus One Scholarship Plan Aids To Enrich International Student Studies

International Students from across the globe now have the opportunity of staying at the UM (University of Miami) for further one year. Plus One scholarship plan that is being set up by the concerned officials of the university aids a student to undertake the fifth year study program without paying any additional tuition fees.

An international student is able to demonstrate his or her skills by scoring minimum of about 30 points in their four yearís tenure of studies that are required for pursing degree programs are eligible to apply for this new program.

Vice Provost and Dean of the university have also revealed that this new scheme aids an individual to broaden his or her study horizons in all the major and minor study programs.  President of Student Government, Nawara Alwara is striving hard from two years to put forth this new plan into effect this year.

Take five program of University of Rochester plays a key role in implementing the new Plus One Scholarship plan at University of Miami. Highlighting the key aspects in the student application form aids more overseas candidate to enroll in this programs, says current SG President San Roman.

San Roman further added that they are also planning to make the student study programs easier to make them feel that they have never come across such programs in any of the institutions outside.

They have also planned to set up the coherent study course programs in order to enrich the professionals and the learning skills of an international student in their extra study semester. Option of choosing the field that they are willing to excel is given to the student only. This new plan also helps an international student to take up the electives in which they are planning to continue their studies, said San Roman.

An international student willing to undertake this new program must attend any of the Plus One scholarship programís sessions that are going to be conducted on February 3, 24 and 25.
